Eco-friendly Solutions to Improve Any Garden
Dec 12, 2019TEENREVIEWCREW rated this title 5 out of 5 stars
This guide to gardening is very insightful. I like to grow vegetables in my backyard in the summer, so I like to develop new strategies during the winter. Shawna Coronado has come up with some very creative solutions to problems that I deal with in my own garden, like utilizing small spaces, attracting pollinators, and creating fences and protection. I loved the illustrations and diagrams included to help me understand plant anatomy, step by step processes, and small building projects. I appreciate her use of recycled and repurposed materials to make a beautiful and affordable backyard, because minimizing waste is important in sustainable gardening. It was also very cool to learn about regrowing food from cut kitchen scraps, preparing fresh seeds for planting, and creating a balanced composting system, and I will definitely put those hacks into action come springtime. I love to read about other gardeners' innovations, creativity, and strategies because I can always improve upon my own gardens. I value being eco-friendly, organic, and sustainable, so I can learn a lot of valuable skills from people like Shawna Coronado.
