VERY GOOD 1959 love, sex, romance Doris Day/Martin Melcher (her husband/director), Rock Hudson movie. A bit slower to draw me in than Doris/Melcher's earlier 50's movies, but it did. Does reflect the emerging into 1960's role of women as workers and more than just homemakers/moms, etc. Some fun musical numbers, including the whack 'Ya, Ya, Roly Poly. Always enjoy Melcher's supporting role characters. This time it's Thelma Ritter as drunken housekeeper Alma - and TV's Johnny Yuma the Rebel Nick Adams has a minor role.
