A heartbreaking and powerful novel of what life was like for Jewish tattooweirer, Lale Sokolov, in the concentration camps at Auschwitz-Birkenau. This is a book I will not soon forget. Reading the epilogue and the author's note at the end gave me a greater appreciation of the years of work author Heather Morris put in creating her novel.
