Using a melding of Nazi superior race breeding in Norway and later East German spy infiltration we get this thriller from Germany and Norway. One critic suggested that it has traces of a John Le Carre novel. Yes it does, but I find that I understand the entirely convoluted sequence of events and characters, but I admit, it took quite a bit of concentration. This is not light viewing matter, so don’t even try it unless you have 99 minutes of time in which to focus on what is going on. I had not heard of this film, but was interested because the great-grandmother in the film is played by Liv Ullman, the great Swedish actress.
