Mnemonic

The premise of the book was very promising. The idea of being 17 one day and in your 30s the next, in a body that is a shadow of your former self, is something to think about. Though it is thought provoking at times, I couldn't properly digest the "big event" that happens and what follows. I don't know how many times I said "WTF?" while reading. I said it once, and I'll say it again, I hate it when the big reset button is used as a plot device. However, one can appreciate the book for its ideas on our current culture, our continuous search for meaning and value of our lives, and our obsession with sensationalism and celebrities.
