I enjoy reading romances, along with other genres. The first Julia Quinn book I read was good enough that I followed it with one of her other Smythe-Smith books. This one started off just fine, but when she decided to share details of sexual activities of the main characters, it turns it into a poor-read for me. Come on, most of us can use our imagination that we don't need to know the explicit details!! I wouldn't recommend this book, other than if you enjoy reading English 1800 romances and aren't turned off about reading details of the characters' sexual acts.
