"A master....[Brown] puts readers right into the middle of the inferno."
--Larry Bond

New York Times bestselling thriller-master Dale Brown delivers a story for our times. A Time for Patriots is one of his most explosive novels to date--a frightening, all-too-possible look into the near future, when the nation's economic collapse turns thousands of Americans against their own government. In the midst of chaos, Patrick McLanahan--hero of Executive Intent, Rogue Forces, and many other previous adventures--must enlist the aid of his son and his fellow citizens to hunt down terrorists any way they can. In A Time for Patriots, Dale Brown brings the battle home!

The details really bring realism to Dale Brown's intense storytelling.

Very Bad Plot. Fragmented and Loose.

He's puting a book a year out like a Ford assembly line. Loads with too much tech like he's prepping a student for his pilots license. Takes the reader away from the main theme.

Too much details about flight checks and cockpit switches for my taste. Though story was about civil unrest when militiamen turned against the government when USA economy was in deep recession, vast majority of the time centered on the daily lifes of one ex-general hero of a father and his 18 year old son. With little explanation, the father and son collected enemies in CIA, FBI, military and anarchists. Skip - skip - skip unless you are nuts about flying those private planes.

As usual Dale Brown presents a rip roaring tale. Great read!
