Jack Bishop lives the life of every man's dream. He has a beautiful wife, a happy, healthy daughter, the career he always wanted, and a loving home in a peaceful Texas border town. It is no coincidence that Jack's life seems perfect. But when his 11-year-old daughter is kidnapped, he will hunt her abductors and unleash his own tortured soul, into a Mexican hell of barrios and bordellos controlled by the mysterious religion of La Santa Muerte. Jack tries to hide a black secret - a secret he hides from his family, as well as himself. When a man has too much to hide and nothing to lose, should he dare to search for the truth?

Regardless of the title forget this movie, and better yet, forget about watching it. There is a good cast, including Simon Baker and Paz Vega, but the story is to crazy to believe. There's murder, mayhem and Mexican voodoo of sorts. Ultimately the story makes no sense.

The one interesting thing about this film is perhaps its few vague, tantilizing snatches about a Latino religious death cult.

Skip It - Not Forgotten (2009) 96 min. The film is part mystery, part thriller. Though it’s never boring, the resolution left me wondering what the charade was all about – it made no sense at all except to try to shock the viewer in saying “oh, now I see”. But at second glance, we see nothing at all but a manipulative way to make this film memorable (which it fails).
