Council Supports Westside School Plan

Rate this:
Lethbridge aldermen like the idea of a partnership for Westside schools between the public school district and the Holy Spirit Catholic school division. Public school board chairman Dianne King and Catholic board chairman Chris Spearman told council the complex would include a 900 student high school for the public system and a 650-student junior and senior high school for the Catholic school district. It could also include a branch of the Lethbridge Public Library, a recreation complex and a community health centre. "I would be a town centre for concept for West Lethbridge," Spearman explained.
