Add a CommentThis book is one of my favorite westerns of all time. And not a cowboy in sight. Nuns. Orphans. Wolf-dog. Indian ghost overs.Injured outlaw with a heart-of-gold. Poker playing Sister. Do you need more? Okay, have this. Cinematic descriptions (why is this book not a movie?), colorful relatable characters, plot as fast as the shoot out at the OK Corral. Lean prose. Not one wasted word.
