After a decade abroad, Jean learns of his father's failing health and returns to run the family vineyard with his strong-willed sister, Juliette, and his responsible younger brother, Jeremie. I watched this movie with a friend and we both enjoyed it slower pace showing the reunification of siblings separated by a 10-year absence. Each of the three siblings have to figure out what they want to do with their life as they build on their renewed family relationship. All through the film is a definite love of wine, how to tend The Vineyards and developing their own style of winemaking

A good film that explores family ties, terroir and the passion of wine making. Three siblings inherit their father's vineyard but are faced with an inheritance tax of half a million euros: what to do since they don't have that kind of money? A realistic depiction of the art, craft and science of wine, plus mother nature's capricious interference make absorbing viewing for novices and connoisseurs alike. Great ensemble cast and cinematography.

This comedic drama follows three siblings as they attempt to come together and fix their relationship after their father becomes ill. This movie definitely was able to fall back onto its French roots by having a winery be the setting for the majority of the scenes and endeavors. I found that the movie did a pretty good job at showing the complexities of relationships and how circumstances are able to shift people’s perspectives and reactions. The characters had clear chemistry together which made it easier to believe that they were siblings, and also knew how to act without saying a word. I would rate this movie 4/5 stars and recommend it to those who enjoy family-oriented films. @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

I really enjoyed this foreign film, which is set in a French vineyard. It's a very enjoyable film that is an exploration of a family's life, including their perceptions of the past. It is a very slow moving film that unfold in layers and by the end you will find that you understand each of the main characters. ****If you are looking for a film that is fast paced, has lots of action, or intense romantic scenes, it is highly unlikely that you will enjoy this movie.
