A rather fun movie with just enough comedy and drama mix to make it work well. Casting missed the mark when they portrayed the engineer-turned-teacher as an Hispanic. In the final photos, you see that the adviser and principle were both Anglo males. This is also a bit of a political statement in support of DACA.
Rated 6/10. An above average feel-good movie. It's gets bogged down in personal stories sometimes, but overall, not bad.
It's a familiar plot which I have seen before, but the ending and the reveal of the real people that are portrayed in this film make it worthwhile.
Wonderful movie. It will have you laughing, crying and cheering for the high school boys and their fantastic teacher. Based on a true story. Recommended.

This movie gave me a glimpse of a culture I haven't known very well and I now feel much more compassion for their difficulties.
