Only Me Generation is a documentary of self-exploration, which tells the personal stories of the effects of the One Child Policy from the first generation's point of view. More than 30 years ago, the Chinese government first introduced the one child policy to alleviate social, economic and environmental problems. Over 3 decades have past; they are now looking at loosing up the policy, which makes the babes born into this policy a unique generation. What are the strengths and weaknesses of only children? What are their social experiences now that they are adults? Moreover, what does the future hold for them, their country and ultimately the world?
