Keep adjusting volume to hear talking; great scares and a few great laughs- really. Worth it.

It started well, with the first story a posterchild for creeping dread horror (enhanced in no small part by my cat, which kept looking over my shoulder, then staring at me), but then the rest slowlyresorted to crawling up its own butt.

Cheesy-looking title with a cheesy-looking graphic. You couldn't be blamed for snubbing it. But don't- it's far better than it looks, and proof positive that you don't have to have a humongous SFX budget to do good horror (tho SF may be another story).
This is a quiet little brit story that many american and canadian viewers probably won't have the patience or ability to slow down enough to give a chance. But try, because the last 20 minutes will leave you feeling edgy. And in this modern milieu of media over-stimulation any movie that leaves you feeling anything is a real accomplishment.
Better than any B-movie has a right to be.

I found this British video enjoyable with a few starling moments and a suitable twist at the end but at times. My only criticism would be that the sometimes thick British accents made it difficult to understand the actors. With that being said I would still recommend it as a good evening watch when you want to be scared.

Very enjoyable horror film which keeps you guessing until the final handful of scenes! While I can understand the polarizing nature of the ending, I felt the creep factor present in the rest of film (not to mention the incomparable Martin Freeman) certainly made it worth my time.

Intelligently written. Slow moving with lots of 'dead space', but It went in a direction that simply couldn't be predicted; which in a world of ripoff's and remakes is refreshing to say the very least. Martin Freeman is good as always. If you're looking for a gory and/or an ultra-violent flick, this is one you should skip. It's a taut thriller.

This is ok- you have to watch the movie right until the end to get the full effect though.

It was terrific up until the end, which was incredibly disappointing. Too bad.

A man who's spent his professional life debunking the paranormal and mediums gets a file of cases from someone who once did the same and who's been missing for years. That kicks off three ghostly tales affecting three different people in this film that slowly builds on the creepy atmosphere before going off the rails (in a good way) in the final stages. The end result is a film that thoroughly messes with the heads of the audience.

" was the subtler touches I found more disturbing: the strange dreary worlds and interiors with a putrefying wintry light: a seaside caravan park, a crepuscular pub in the middle of the day, a blank modern church.
...there’s a tremendous atmosphere to this picture, a dream-like oddness and offness to everything. Nyman and Dyson have created a weird world of menace, despair and decay."
--Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian
