The 9th book in the Betsy-Tacy series. This book was my least favorite one but was still very well written. 21 year old Betsy Ray gets to travel Europe like she and Tacy had always dreamed of, but she would travel alone because Tacy was married. She is partly driven towards Europe on her attempt to forget her almost engaged to beau Joe Willard who she had known since freshman year in high school. She ends up being in Europe during the breakout of World War I. Overall a good read.
