This is the second book by Bruce Cameron I have encountered accidentally. It gave me happy memories of the first story I had read. I'm not even a dog person, but I can certainly appreciate the special bond between a dog and its owner, and the lengths to which dogs will go to protect and care for their owners. A very happy occasion to have stumbled upon another during the holiday period; I've made a note to seek out more stories by this author.

A Dog's Perfect Christmas is not entirely about Christmas, it does feel like hot chocolate with a candy cane in it though. Quite satisfying
