This DVD does not play on my Sony Blue Ray player, I have read that this is very common for this disc.

just awesome, great fighting and lovely colors. The John Wick world makes me all sorts of happy.

Like many, I also admit that the first John Wick film would be another yawner of a Keanu Reeves action flick, but it took me took entirely by surprise as this sequel also did!

John Wick is a force of nature who just wants a normal life after retiring from being a contract killer. He is not to be messed with, but if one does mess with a guy like John Wick, you can guess what happens after.

Saw "John Wick 3" a few days ago at the movie theater across the street from Powell's on West Burnside and it was just as great of a movie!

Looking forward to seeing "John Wick 4" (yes, you read that right) when it opens in 2021!

More dialogue than the first, which is not bad for me. However some viewers might not like that. It does have a lot of cool fighting scenes and the views are just incredible!

A fun violent movie for adults to enjoy. He is just a killing machine. Moves like a graphic novel as a movie. Lt. comedy. I liked it. It is NOT a deep, emotional connecting movie; just action packed with irony and killings.

What can I say, we really liked it and think it better than the average movie. Like to see more of him.

It's back, John Wick is not done with revenge from the last chapter and with possibly more action scenes than before. This movie has a very interesting story behind John's life before he retired and how he cannot leave it behind no matter how much he tries. I would recommend watching this to anyone that liked movies similar to Mission Impossible, James Bond, or Jason Bourne. Overall a great watch. 4/5 Stars

Love John Wick 1 & 2 and looking forward to 3rd chapter. I hope the trilogy storyline remains creative, innovative, & strong. Pure testosterone ... the good-bad vs "the animals."

if you like action then you will like this movie, Keanu Reeves does his own stunts now

While the middle film of the John Wick trilogy was slick and action-packed, it lacked the depth and emotional / psychological intensity of the first film. It was less [The Empire Strikes Back] and more [The Matrix Reloaded]. I’d still recommend it though, because where the John Wick series went, many non-superhero action films followed, e.g. [Atomic Blonde].
My feeling was that the first [John Wick] was stronger because its emotional core was deeper and ran more intense than this sequel, and because it introduced all the interesting novelties of its world. I have upgraded my rating of [John Wick 1] to reflect that. Yes, there were still networks of past relationships and partnerships that were being rekindled or burned by Wick (Keanu Reeves), but nothing was going to bring back Helen, the Mach 1, or the dog. The storm was over, the task now was to make the aftermath as or even more interesting.
It was great that the filmmakers resurrected the franchise but they had a difficult choice: how to top the first film? Alienation and social relations were themes that ran through this film, but they choose to emphasize world building, a deeper dive into John Wick’s world, in attempt to get him clear as if the life of an assassin was an addiction to cure. I know that they got the first part down, but the second part? While the combat was slicker this time, the intensity and refreshing novelties of the first film have been mostly replaced by rules, rituals, and the obligations of the underworld. The professional respect and silent admiration that assassins had for each other, for instance between Wick and Cassian (Common) was nice, but the novelty has long gone.
Interpersonal intensity, more action, and more humour just can’t displace that initial feeling of peeling back the door to see the world of Wick: the gold coins, the references to Greek mythology, the underworld word play, the rules of the Continental Hotel. I also agree with many Bibliocommons viewers that the novelty of the Continental Hotel has been overplayed, though Winston and Charon remain awesome on the strength of [Wick 1] alone. While a broken man could be expected to burn bridges or even ideate blowing up the world, in their plan to set Wick loose from the world of assassins, the filmmakers did not use fireworks when they should’ve. Also the music was unmemorable.
“You have to see it for yourself. This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back” (Morpheus from The Matrix).
As he ran through Central Park with his dog, I wondered why Keanu didn’t just fly away. I mean, isolated from the rest of the world, that’s now filled with people who want to kill him (for just $14 million?), he’s not John Wick anymore. No, he’s Neo from [The Matrix]. Oh, but then I saw that he had a limp and then I realized that he couldn’t jump high enough to begin flying.
 Run, Neo! Run!

John Wick: Winston... tell them... Tell them all... Whoever comes, whoever it is... I'll kill them. I'll kill them all.

Winston: 'Course you will.

I can assure you that the stories you hear about this man, if nothing else,
has been watered down.
That's why I need the ghost, lo Spettro (Italian for the Ghost), John Wick.
Two rules that cannot be broken, Jonathan. No blood on continental grounds, and every marker must be honored.
You stabbed the devil in the back and forced him back into the life that he had just left. You incinerated the priest's temple. Burned it to the ground. Now he's free of the marker, what do you think he'll do?
He was already back.
-Oh, he came back for love, not for you.
Oh, and remember, you owe me.
-You don't want me owing you.
