I'm a big fan of Jennifer Weiner to begin with. Her writing style is easy to get into, and her stories flow well. This story involves the lives of four women, told from the point of view of each woman as they endure their own challenges but are wound together with the lives of the other women. I enjoyed this book; it may be my favorite of hers thus far. The ending was a little more neat and tidy than I think was realistic, but I suppose that's part of why we suspend reality to read a good book. Overall, very enjoyable.

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would Some of the background stories of the women will stay with me for a while.

It was very interesting how Jennifer Weiner wove these women's lives together. At first couldn't figure out how each would fit in. I found the ending to be a little trite, (spoiler alert) but then, I do like a happy ending--sometimes even if it is not realistic.

As usual , Jennifer provides us with solid characters , and an interesting plot . However , I wish she'd lighten up on the endless detail - enough , already !

Wow! Great book. Weiner saves little nuggets of information about the characters so there are surprises as you read, love it!

No one exposes women’s complex relationships with themselves and others better than Jennifer Weiner. In Then Came You, the lives of four women cross when fertility challenged India and her husband decide to have a baby via egg donor (Jules) and surrogate (Annie). India’s husband’s twenty-something daughter (Bettina) who’s less than happy about her new step-mom and soon to be sibling is also thrown into the mix. The story is told from each woman’s perspective, allowing the reader to see how each woman’s decision to participate in the baby-making process impacts herself and her family.

I think this is my favourite book of hers so far. It was a really good story line and quite different from her usual story line.

Another winner from a great storyteller. It's interesting to see the arc of the subject matter in Ms. Weiner's books as she matures as a woman. A good read.

A favorite author of mine. This one was interesting, but didn't care for the ending. There was a character you really hated and didn't want to see win. I guess once you know her whole story, you were supposed to feel for her and cheer that she still survived.
