Given our recent provincial election, this book is a timely read. I didn't think I would like it, but I was pleasantly surprised. I chuckled continually as I was reading. Great read!

This is a story of an unlikely politician. Angus gets talked into running, under the belief that he will never win. He had no desire to be in politics. It is a pretty safe bet because he is running against the most popular finance minister in Canada ever.

Of course, things go awry and Angus does end up in Ottawa. Will he be able to stick to his beliefs and standards? Or will he get sucked in by the power and prestige of politics?

This book is full of great humour. It was a fun read.
