I loved this book. Never really understood addiction as well till I read this book. I really enjoy all of Jennifer’s books I’ve read, she knows how to tell a good story.

I closed this novel after a few chapters because I prefer entertainment in my books v. stark, depressing reality. However, I would recommend this book to any mother who has a drug/pill addiction or uses alcohol to self-medicate and any…

This is the first book I read written by Jennifer Weiner. It was an interesting topic but the last parts of the book were boring, very boring. I will finish reading it because it is the only book I have at home now. Otherwise, I would have…

Addiction, of any kind, is a serious subject matter, and Jennifer Weiner was able to get that point across in the novel. But, she was still able to incorporate humor here and there throughout the story.

First time i have read one of her novels. I liked it a lot.
A patron review from the Adult Summer Game: "I read this without knowing the plot because I like Jennifer Weiner's books. Once again she delivers a novel of a realistic woman but this time about addiction (to pain meds). It was OK,…

The description says the character's name is Gillian but it's Allison!
Anyway, I loved the book! I was also sucked in with the first chapter. She is one of my favorite authors too and I think it's her best novel yet. Devoured it in…

A heartbreaking and eye-opening book about prescription painkiller abuse with a realistic and thought-provoking ending. I was sucked in within the first few chapters and spent a beautiful day inside reading because I just couldn’t seem to…
