A great read for fans of magical realism! If you like Sarah Addison Allen and Laura Esquivel, you'll love Menna Van Praag.

I was very disappointed with this book. None of the characters grabbed me and made me care about them. The plot was OK, whimsical but not developed enough for me.

I inhaled this book over a weekend. It was a whimsical and heartfelt tale that mixes the lives of 4 women and a magical house. It was recommended by the author Sarah Addison Allen, and I found it very similar to her books.
